Supporting children and families in Moldova
We accompany children and their families in one of the poorest regions of Europe. Many grow up under difficult conditions: poverty, neglect, a lack of prospects, and violence. Parents often work abroad, leaving grandparents to take on caregiving responsibilities – yet they frequently lack resources or strength to do so. Social safety nets are absent.
We give children security, support, and reliable caregivers. Through educational care, warm meals, learning assistance, and psychological support, we create a place where everyone can flourish.
At the children’s centre in Pirita,
up to 30 children find safety, encouragement, and reliable caregivers. Through educational care, warm meals, learning assistance, and psychological support, we create a place where they can thrive.
In strengthening families,
we accompany parents and caregivers to become capable of action. We strengthen the relationship between parents and their children, provide support with daily routines and parenting as well as connect families with the local support system.
